This Friday, GoMint is excited to drop a collection of limited edition, mini-series films of Opus Orange’s new song “All To Myself” which are directed and designed by XUAN films and with promotional help from Emoto Music collective. The tokenized films will be minted with the capabilities of Hedera’s Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and featured on the GoMint.me marketplace.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other tokenized content are new ways for indie artists to build upon their work and bring it to new audiences. In terms of this creative collaboration, it was highly important to all involved in the collaboration that Opus Orange’s mini-series films be minted on a sustainable blockchain with the least environmental impact. By tokenizing with Hedera’s DLT on GoMint, this was achieved.
As described by their bios, Opus Orange is a vibrant independent pop collective that deftly traverses sonic and geographical landscapes. Led by composer Paul Bessenbacher, the group creates a sound that is equal parts ecstatic, melancholic, and anthemic. Emoto is a Los Angeles based collective of composers, musicians, and other creative artists who are changing the way music is created for advertising, film & TV and also is a minority-owned business. Xuan is a new media artist, filmmaker, and pianist working at the intersection of music, visual art, and technology.
